The Truth about Immigration

Dave Cameron is tinkering with our social security system to discourage immigration but if he scrapped benefits altogether immigrants would still be attracted to our shores by our cheap labour economy. They come from all over the world but the newspapers demonstrate their political correctness by objecting to European immigrants and ignoring those from Jamaica, Africa, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan.

The recent wave of 'refugees' entering Europe from Turkey and North Africa are claiming  asylum under the 1951 UN Refugee Convention. But only half of them are genuine refugees from Syria - an ancient civilized nation - the rest are economic migrants from Asia and Africa. Article 33 of the Convention forbids deportation to any country that does not respect human rights but that includes all the countries that are dumping their surplus populations.
      

UK Immigration controls are ineffectual because we abolished identity cards in the fifties and we have no idea who is in the country. The last Labour government tried to bring back identity cards but their proposal was thrown out by Parliament with the support of the popular press and the misguided 'libertarians' of Ukip and the BNP. 

The trouble is that big business demands cheap labour and the politicians who depend on their donations do as they are told. As a result we have experienced high levels of immigration and political betrayal. We all remember Margaret Thatcher’s brilliantly-timed intervention before the 1979 general election when she said she understood peoples’ fears of “being swamped” by immigration. Dave Cameron is saying similar things nearly forty years later but this time nobody is listening. 

Europe and America are facing the consequences of mass migration driven by poverty and war. A great program of resettlement is possible but it would require international co-operation. We may never return to a world divided into racially exclusive states but migration can be controlled, cultures can be protected, and trade deals and foreign aid can be targeted. Our first priority must be to replace our useless politicians with men and women committed to our survival as a European nation. That's certainly a challenge but the collapse of Communism in Russia proves that anything is possible. To quote President Obama: "can we do it - yes we can."

British readers who are not reading the name Sam Njankou Meffire for the first time probably became aware of this case of a ‘German’ policeman-gone-wrong from the January 7 Sunday Times. The article, entitled “Cop with a halo is robber king” is worth reading, as they get most of the facts straight.

The gist of Herr Meffire’s biography is as follows: As the son of a black exchange student from Cameroon and a German girl, Meffire grew up in ‘East’ Germany and gained national attention as the poster-boy for 1993’s biggest ‘tolerance’ campaign, initiated by the newspaper Sachsische Zeitung. As Dresden’s first black policeman, he seemed the ideal candidate for the sort of project they had in mind. At this point in time, it appeared that nothing could stop young Meffire’s sky-rocketing career, with one Hamburg newspaoer even going so far as to style him as "the new German." He had formerly worked as a mason prior to the fall of the Berlin wall, afterwards wandering from job to job, trying his luck variously as a hospital assistant, night-watchman, then later as a night-club bouncer. In early 1991 he decided to leave Germany. Looking for action a la Miami Vice (according to former co-worker Karsten Schlinzig), Meffire set his sights on becoming a police officer, and after a six month training period, he was deemed fit to serve the police force as a ‘special agent’ in 1992. Meffire ended up leaving the police in 1994, and made an unsuccessful attempt to start his own private security service three months later. It was at this point, at the very latest, that Meffire turned to crime.  

The Sunday Times tells of how this most prominent of black ‘Germans’ rose to prominence: “Within weeks Meffire became Germany’s most famous policeman and a regular television chat show guest ... the region’s leading daily newspaper chose him for a campaign against racism and put his face on bill-boards under the headline “Ein Sachse” (meaning someone from Sachsen ), and then won an award for the best German advertisement in 1993."

A National Freedom reader who feels especially charitable might want to send the poor editors of the Sunday Times a good English-German dictionary, or perhaps give them a rudimentary lesson in European history. A correct translation of the phrase, “Ein Sachse” is “A Saxon," a term which truthfully applies to the majority of Dreden’s white inhabitants. “Ein Sachse” does not mean simply “someone from Sacshen” anymore than the term “Afrikaner” means “someone from Africa."

Despite this rather pathetic (intentional?) error in the article, most of the facts in Meffire’s case are presented accurately. Much to the discredit of the so-called German media, only a handful of German newspapers covered the story in as much depth, the rest preferring to concentrate on such issues of importance as Steffi Graf’s tax problems, relegating the Meffire affair to a few lines buried somewhere towards the back of their papers.

One notable exception was the daily Stuttgarter Zeitung (Jan 12), which told much of the story that was withheld from the majority of newspaper readers in Germany. Among other aspects of Meffire’s life described in the article, is the special relationship he had with Saxony’s former Minister of the Interior Heinz Eggert (Christian Democrats), who resigned from his post last year after being accused of sexually harassing several of his male subordinates. But not all of Meffire’s new found friends were corrupt political figures. According to the paper, Meffire began “to use his time off work to visit Dresden’s red-light district on ‘official’ business”, and “in frustration... Meffire made the acquaintance of Felix Fischer, also an Afro-German and the best known underworld crime-boss in Dresden. ‘He’s a brother. He’s also black’, said Meffire.”

After a series of at least three brutal robberies, which fetched over 50,000 German Marks and left several of his victims seriously injured, Meffire suddenly disappeared in February 1995. After another accomplice to the robberies was caught in Berlin and subsequently implicated Meffire, an international warrant was issued for the ex-policeman’s arrest. He was finally caught this past December in the African country of Zaire. After taking up contact with the German Consulate in that country, Meffire requested his own extradition to Germany, which took place in the second week of January this year.

In spite of the minimal amount of publicity surrounding the downfall of the country’s best known ‘black German’, the event signals a decisive defeat to those working for the destruction of Europe under the disguise of a ‘multi-cultural’ agenda. Many free-thinking Germans are now beginning to wonder just where this one-world multi-criminal society is heading; such back-fired attempts as the “Ein Sachse” campaign will undoubtedly straighten out more than a few confused minds. Let us hope that the enemies of European culture continue to recruit allies as useful to them as Sam Njankou Meffire.

The Economic Recovery of Germany

Most historians see National Socialism as entirely evil but a growing revisionist faction seeks to rehabilitate the Nazis. Their conclusions are subjective but the British economists CW Guillebaud made a contemporary study that was entirely objective. In his book The Economic Recovery of Germany he described how the Nazis abolished the old trade unions and replaced them with The German Labour Front (DAF) which awarded higher wages than those in the UK, limited working hours, established paid holidays, and set up a comprehensive system of health and social security. Robert Ley, the leader of the DAF, vowed to create “a true social and productive community."

In the six years between coming to power and the Second World War the National Socialists rescued Germany from economic chaos and put the nation back to work. Hitler suspended reparations under the Treaty of Versailles, with the encouragement of John Maynard Keynes, but he continued to pay back freely-contracted loans and financed reconstruction by issuing tax receipts which circulated as currency and by the sale of interest-bearing bonds. The Nazis conquered unemployment with a combination of rearmament, public works, military conscription, and direction of labour. These methods were similar to FD Roosevelt’s New Deal which restored the American economy. Today every government relies on the bond market and the buying back of state securities, or “quantitative easing," is widely practised.

The first Four Year Plan was overseen by Minister of Economics Hjamar Schacht who was a personal friend of Sir Montague Norman the Governor of the Bank of England. Norman was godfather to one of Schacht’s grandchildren and both men were directors of the Swiss-based Bank of International Settlements, and members of the Anglo German Society. Schacht was replaced by Herman Goering in 1936 but he remained President of the Reichsbank and his influence continued to benefit Germany. When the Nazis invaded Czechoslovakia in 1939 Sir Montague Norman authorised the transfer to Germany of the Czech national gold reserves held in the Bank of England’s account at the Bank of International Settlement.

National Socialist economic policies were essentially conventional but the way that they harnessed the spirit of national solidarity and redistributed wealth was entirely revolutionary. Young married couples could buy a house without a deposit and on the birth of every child a percentage of the mortgage was written off. The comradeship of the trenches united Germans of all classes, regions and denominations, and the dynamism of the regime inspired heroic levels of productivity.

Hitler said in 1937: “Germany will enter into no obligations to pay for her imports than she is capable of fulfilling. The German Government thus takes the standpoint of the respectable merchant who keeps his orders in harmony with his power to pay. We laugh at the time when our national economists held the view that the value of a currency is regulated by the gold and securities lying in the vaults of a State Bank; and more especially we laugh at the theory that its value is guaranteed thereby. We have instead come to learn that the value of a currency lies in the productive capacity of a nation."

The National Socialists tried to reform international trade by signing the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of August 1939. This envisaged the exchange of German industrial goods for Soviet raw materials, but such deals were transacted with credit notes denominated in Reichsmarks and the arrangement was cut short by the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June1941.

The racial and economic policies of the Third Reich did not survive the war. The great German industrial corporations were never given over to workers' partnership, as originally planned, and foreign volunteers for the German Army were welcomed regardless of nationality. At first they were limited to “Germanic” nations but by the end of the war they included Russians, Turks, Arabs, and Indians. The only policy that they pursued to the bitter end was their treatment of the Jews.   

It’s pointless to speculate about history but if Hitler had reached an accommodation with the Jews and championed their migration to Palestine the Second World War might never have happened. The Zionists in Britain, including Winston Churchill, would have supported him, and the Fuhrer would have achieved his objective of “ethnic cleansing” and been hailed in Israel as a “Righteous Gentile”. Instead, he started a mass round up of the Jews that got completely out of control and ended in disaster. The National Socialists certainly restored German pride and revitalised the economy but they went too far with their rampant nationalism and made the fatal mistake of believing their own propaganda.

Global capitalism can only be controlled by states that can feed and defend themselves. The soldiers of the Third Reich fought bravely but they could not defeat the combined might of the Allies. Hitler failed to unite Europe by force of arms but modern Germany has succeeded without firing a shot. The current refugee crisis and the worldwide recession will be overcome. The Germans took in 13 million refugees after WW2; they absorbed the bankrupt state of East Germany at the fall of the Berlin Wall; they helped to bailout the Greeks and they are encouraging Britain to stay in the EU. A nation that recovered from the most devastating war in history in a generation can achieve anything.

It Takes All Sorts

Political parties attract all sorts of people. In the 1960’s BNP we had a member known as John the Baptist who had twelve children. And another who kept a guinea pig in a holdall that he carried everywhere. Joe Orton the talented writer of Entertaining Mr Sloane, and Prick up Your Ears was a Union Movement supporter who was murdered by his homosexual lover. Roland Kerr Ritchie was a Colin Jordan fan who had been awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre for his wartime service. He worked in a bank and sometimes attended street corner meetings in his bowler hat and pinstripe suit. And then there was John Bean’s very able bodyguard, Ken Merritt, who upset John Tyndall by wearing a poncho and open toed sandals, like Clint Eastwood in a Sergio Leonne movie.

Drinking was practically compulsory in the old days and it sometimes got in the way of politics. We once held a meeting of the old BNP outside Brixton Library and opposite a pub on a bitterly cold winter's day. It started snowing and one by one we deserted the meeting for the pub and left Bert Mitchell on the platform speaking to nobody and slowly turning into a snowman.

Another time two of us were selling Combat in Croydon in 1962 when a total stranger gave us five pounds. We decided to treat ourselves to lunch. In those days a pint of beer cost about two shillings so we had plenty of money. I don’t remember how much we paid in but it was a lot less than a fiver.

And then there was an enthusiastic local policeman who decided to arrest us for wearing Union Jack armbands. He marched us down to Croydon Police Station and had an argument with the desk sergeant who told him not to be so silly. We were released but advised to ditch the armbands.

Just about every cult and religion has made an appearance over the years. The British Israelites thought that we were the true Jews and that the others were imposters. The Catholics included Protestants in their conspiracy theories, along with Jews and Freemasons, and the Protestants returned the compliment by accusing the Catholics of supporting the IRA and starting the Great Fire of London. I have never met any Druids but there have been plenty of Odinists. The Ku Klu Klan never took off in the UK but the Sunday papers periodically report Klan meetings in the West Midlands. There used to be a Hindu faction centred around Savitri Devi who went in for “Aryan” mysticism and lived on brown rice and lentils.

And one of the most colourful characters was Jack Philby, a distinguished intelligence officer and linguist who became a Muslim, He stood in the 1939 Hythe by-election for the British People's Party and got interned under Defence Regulation 18B for his trouble. He was the father of the Soviet spy Kim Philby. 

Most nationalists are decent folk who want the best for their country but some are the sort of people that the eighties band The Jam sang about, who "smelt of pubs and Wormwood Scrubs and too many right wing meetings." We know them well; football hooligans looking for trouble, retro-fascists dressed up in uniforms, high Tories who are proscribed by the Conservative Party, historical revisionists, financial reformers who want to do away with money, believers in shape-shifting lizard people, and supporters of political parties that regularly get 1% while the winning party gets 40%.

As the up-and coming nationalist party Ukip are keeping up the tradition. Hardly a week goes by without one of their councillors being thrown out. They attract the mentally afflicted like moths around a candle. One of them sported parachute wings and a red beret but the Army had never heard of him. Another blamed the EU for spoiling his toast by limiting the power of his toaster. Many of them are bigots and most of them use offensive language. A photo of Ukip supporters would typically show a group of overweight middle aged, middle class men wearing blazers and regimental ties. But in order to come to power they need to attract teenagers in denims and trainers, young couples with children, and independent women who run their own businesses and are not confined to the kitchen.

There is a desperate need in this country for a patriotic party with realistic policies. But we do not need fantasists who dream of deporting all the black and brown people, or conspiracy theorists who think that the Jews organised their own destruction in order to establish the State of Israel, or members of the Master Race who are living on benefits. We have had enough of head-measurers and romantics.

Coudenhove-Kalergi

Conspiracy Theorists have unearthed an obscure book by Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi entitled Praktischer Idealismus which outlines his plan for Europe to be populated by a mixed race “resembling the Ancient Egyptians” and ruled by the Jews. These ideas were no doubt influenced by his mother, who was Japanese, his first wife who was Jewish, and his Freemasonry which preaches ‘brotherly love’. Coudenhove-Kalergi founded the Pan-Europa movement which still exists to promote European unity but his strange ideas about race do not feature on their website.

When Angela Merkel welcomed the refugees from Syria she was upset by pictures of drowning children. Her reaction was typical of a middle-aged, middle-class woman but it does not prove that she is a secret member of Coudenhove-Kalergi’s Masonic lodge, or that she is committed to flooding Europe with non-Europeans. Most Germans agreed with her at first but they changed their minds as the numbers grew and the success of the populist AFD party in the regional elections shows their determination to halt the influx. Let's hope that the Russian-brokered ceasefire holds in Syria and that the agreement between Turkey and the EU is effective.

Race-mixing is endorsed by President Barack Obama, who is of mixed race, and by almost every world leader except Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel who believes that the Jews are God’s chosen people. Nigel Farage of Ukip is opposed to racism and welcomes black and brown people to his movement. He may "feel uncomfortable" around Eastern Europeans but he loves his Commonwealth brothers and sisters.

As a multi-millionaire sprung from the loins of the new nobility and raised on the playing fields of Eton Dave Cameron has trouble relating to redundant steel workers from South Wales or the North East but he is so familiar with non-European entrepreneurs that he has filled his cabinet with them.

Britain has an ageing population and a labour shortage. The Euro-sceptics claim that they would stop immigration by quitting the EU but all they would do is replace Poles with Pakistanis. In a country that encourages "enrichment" the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan is superfluous. A responsible government would encourage the British birth rate and invest in automation but until we get such a government we will need to import workers. We can either chose fellow Europeans who share our blood and culture or "celebrate diversity" by recruiting Afro-Asians.

Terry Savage

Terry Savage was born in North London on 27th September 1938 and died in Hertfordshire on 2^nd January 2011.

He first became involved in politics when he joined Oswald Mosley’s Union Movement in 1953 at the age of 15. After completing his National Service in the army he joined John Bean’s National Labour Party which became the British National Party in 1960 and was absorbed into the National Front in 1967. In 1979 he helped Andrew Fountaine to found the National Front Constitutional Movement which was absorbed into John Tyndall’s British National Party in 1982.

Terry was always an active member who was not afraid to put himself forward.  He first stood for the 1960s BNP in the Islington council election of 1962 and he last stood for Nick Griffin’s BNP in Hertfordshire in the council election of 2010. He was leaflet bashing for his local party until the bitter end.

He was a Euro-sceptic but not a narrow nationalist. He strongly believed in European solidarity and his friends from Italy and Germany came to his funeral.

In the 1960s he worked with veteran campaigners Phil Ridout and Ron Hargrave in the aircraft industry, and he was the editor of an aviation journal when he died.

In the 1970’s Terry wrote a column for my newsletter Nation under the nom de plume Fred Ponsford; the imaginary landlord of “The Pig & Truncheon" public house. One such article was reprinted in Nation Revisited # 88, March 2013.

He edited the National Front Constitutional Movement newspaper Frontline News and later wrote for Identity and the BNP website.

In 1981 Terry gave evidence at the trial of the cartoonist and writer Robert Edwards who edits and publishes European Socialist Action. www.europeanaction.com  Robert has submitted the following brief explanation.

I knew Terry Savage in the 1970’s when he became involved in the National Front Constitutional Movement. He was editor of their Frontline News newspaper and I was a contributor, supplying articles and cartoons. Around 1980, I was arrested for publishing cartoon strips in a comic called The Stormer. Inspector Denis Lawrie of the Obscene Publications Squad was on my case collecting statements from anyone who knew me in political circles. Terry Savage was hauled in and gave the police a statement regarding any knowledge of my activities and especially my cartoon work. At Snaresbrook Crown Court, Terry appeared as a witness for the prosecution, much to my surprise. What surprised me further was his about-turn under cross-examination. God bless him, he defended me and led the prosecution a merry dance. Inspector Lawrie was none too pleased but the Jewish judge sent me down for twelve months nevertheless. My solicitors told me to expect six months before the trial even started as it was a political trial. It was a pleasure and honour to have known Terry Savage. A true man of honour. I will never forget him. Robert Edwards.

As well as being a writer, an artist, and a photographer, Terry was a keen local historian with an extensive knowledge of Hertfordshire.

He was not a religious man but he believed in "Distributism" the equitable economic system pioneered by the Catholic writers GK Chesterton, Cyril Chesterton, and Hilaire Belloc.

As a young man he fenced for his school and the army; in later life he became a bon viveur but his real passion was for conversation and he was famous for his inexhaustible stock of anecdotes.

My favourite Terry Savage story was when he had a business meeting with a Tory MP at the Carlton Club. The MP had arranged for him to be admitted and served at the bar. As he was waiting former Prime Minister Harold Macmillan staggered in, clearly the worst for wear. He bought Terry a drink and asked him “How’s your dear father?” Terry replied that his father was well and was greatly relieved when his client arrived.

I was fortunate to know Terry from 1961 until his death. He could be stubborn, garrulous and opinionated but he was good company. I will always remember his catchphrase: “And another thing.”

Economics for Helen

Economics has replaced religion as the metaphysics of the modern world. Everyone has heard of Economics but few people understand the subject including many who have studied it at university. We are generally content to leave it to the so-called experts who baffle us with talk of “hedge funds”, gilts, and “collateral”. We just have our wages or pensions paid into the bank and hope that our bank managers and tax collectors are not wasting our money.

To throw some light on the subject Hilaire Belloc wrote “Economics for Helen” in 1924. We don’t know who Helen was but we guess that she was a young woman of average intelligence. Belloc cuts through the mumbo-jumbo to reveal what we always suspected – that economics is a simple matter of not spending more than you earn.

Like Karl Marx before him, Belloc predicted that the Capitalist State would either degenerate into the Servile State or become the Distributist State. Successful capitalists funded schools, hospitals and public housing schemes but instead of relying on their generosity he proposed a system that would raise the living standards of the people in line with technology. Critics deride Distributism as the system that promises every family “three acres and a cow” but it is much more than that; it’s a system that guarantees social justice by outlawing usury and unrestrained capitalism. It was based on the encyclical of Pope Leo XIII “Rerum Novarum” which called for a fair distribution of wealth.

Belloc wanted money to be backed by productivity but he never supported the Gold Standard. At the end of the First World War Britain’s national debt stood at £8 billion when  an average week's wages was £1.50. At the gold in the world would not have covered the debt. The British Government was forced to abandon the link with gold and issue Treasury Bonds. Chancellor of the Exchequer Winston Churchill returned us to the Gold Standard in 1925 but we were forced off it again in 1929 by the Great Depression. Vincent Vickers a former Governor of the Bank of England wrote:

“We returned to the Gold Standard in 1925 for the benefit of the City of London, and so ruined our basic industries. It does not follow that what is best for the City of London is best for the country”.

Belloc concludes his book with advice that our present Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, should heed:

“As societies get more and more luxurious, more and more complicated, more and more “civilised” (as we call it), so do these economic imaginaries grow out of all proportion to the real wealth of society. If on top of their growth you suddenly impose high taxation based upon your assessment, you may think you are only taking a fifth or a third or a fourth of the whole community’s real yearly wealth, when in reality you are taking half or more than a half. And this is probably the main reason why so many highly developed societies have broken down towards the end of their brilliance through the demands of their tax gatherers who worked on assessment inflated out of all reality by a mass of economic imaginaries.”

Since the fall of Communism in Russia and China’s conversion to market capitalism the world seemed to be heading towards the Servile State – rule by the banks and the global corporations. But the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008 caused a financial nervous breakdown from which we are still recovering. When the global giants of capitalism begin to fail people lose faith in the political system and start looking for a fair way to distribute wealth. They should read “Economics for Helen” which is available from Amazon.

This Is No Time To Become A Small Country – Gordon Beckwell

I often wonder which of UKIP’s two policies has been most responsible for its rise in popularity. I suspect it’s opposition to immigration that has struck a chord with most people. Although Farage has mopped up the anti-European Union ‘Little England’ brigade too, most British people know that leaving the world’s richest market of over 500-million people and trying to replace it with destitute Third World consumers is economic lunacy. If opinion polls are to be believed, over 60% of the British public believe in staying in the European Union and only 20% are for pulling out ( that was in May 2015, the latest figures are more like 50% for staying in)..

You don’t need a degree from the London School of Economics to know there’s nothing we can make or do in this country that can’t be made or done for one tenth of the price in the cheap labour countries of the world. The result would be 15-million U.K. unemployed within twelve months – unless you think that after kicking the EU in the teeth and quitting they’re going to give us preferential tariff rates. Rather than treat us with the contempt we would deserve and leave the U.K. to sink.

Unfortunately for people who want to see Nigel Farage in Number Ten you can’t have one policy (stopping immigration) without the other (leaving the EU).

It’s also clear that the UKIP leadership doesn’t have the courage to speak out against immigration from Africa, Asia and the rest of the Third World. Instead it reserves its anti-immigration rhetoric for Poles and Romanians knowing it can’t be accused of racism because the Poles and Rumanians are the same race, religious background and general culture as themselves. But it wasn’t the Eastern Europeans who tried to burn down south London a few years back. And they don’t turn large areas of our major cities into foreign enclaves or caliphates – Eastern Europeans have dispersed themselves more evenly rather than swamping whole districts and changing their character completely.

 Way back in the 1950s and 1960s Oswald Mosley and Union Movement campaigned bravely against all immigration. Mosley’s concept of Europe One Nation would have delayed citizens from less developed European states from moving to areas where wages were higher – until the economies of the less prosperous European members had been brought up to the higher level. This would have prevented the mad scramble of hundreds of thousands of Poles and Romanians into the U.K. willing to work for the national minimum wage (or less).

As far as the Third World was concerned there would be zero immigration into Europe. Mosley had developed reforms that would see a gradual increase of living standards in Third World countries. Once the exploitative power of global finance had been brought to heel, Third World production could be used for Third World consumption. All people could enjoy decent living standards in the lands of their birth - and it would avoid the eternal problem that ‘unnatural mixtures lead always to strife.’

Before too long there will be a referendum on the UK’s continued membership of Europe. Apart from the economic factors already described, there is another all-important question British voters must consider. We live in a world of giants such as the U.S., China, India, Russia and the European Union. If we left Europe and became a small country of 60-million people and we had a conflict of interests with one of the giant super-powers, whose interests do you think would prevail? You wouldn’t need to make a wild guess to know that Little Britain would come off worse every time.

Last year our friends in the North had a referendum about whether to leave the United Kingdom with no guarantee they would be able to remain in the European Union. Even the proud Scots saw through the ‘fishy’ Rob Roy nostalgia of Salmond and Sturgeon and voted by a substantial margin of 10% to stay within the UK and the EU. It’s unfortunate that Salmond has been such a bad loser and from the way he talks refuses to accept the democratic decision of the Scottish people. He would do well to remember that just a few centuries ago anybody attempting to destroy the United Kingdom would have answered for it at Tower Hill or Tyburn.

Instead of sheltering behind the ‘moat’ of the English Channel and the North Sea and moaning about the big, bad Europeans the British should take the lead in completely restructuring the EU’s bloated bureaucracy.

Europe should speak with one voice on foreign policy and defence and agree and enforce essential basic economic policies. All other matters of government should be decided at regional level in keeping with local preferences - and regional administrations should receive and control budgets that are fit for purpose. The Euro-bureaucrat Gravy Train would be shunted resolutely into the sidings having reached the end of the line.

The British initiative for reform of the EU should be explained clearly and concisely not only to the British people but to all the people of Europe. Then if the present local MEP incumbents aren’t willing to embrace change, British MEP candidates should stand against them in their own countries as is perfectly permissible under EU law.

Oswald Mosley showed the way more than fifty years ago when he said ‘Britain First in Europe a Nation’.

So let the British redeem themselves for their previous lack of vision based on post-Imperial nostalgia and embrace Europe in an offensive to create a New Model Europe using all those powers of diplomacy, persuasion and charm that once earned us the admiration of the world.

Letter from America - Robert Lyons

I greatly enjoyed this issue of European Outlook and Nation Revisited, “it’s a keeper” as the saying goes. I especially enjoyed reading the John Bean article and about your early background in the movement plus your travels around the world way back in the day. Other than the Trump nightly entertainment not much happening on this end. As either Commander Rockwell or Commander Koehl used to say about US elections it’s between “wheedle-dee and wheedle-dum” because they all stand on the same platform and then try to out Jew each other.

We’re still travelling and will be back in Europe soon. I will sincerely try to make it to London. I’ll let you know. With all that’s happening in Brussels it might take another two hours to get through security at the airport. Looks like Europe will have to take a step back to the old borders, the EU made the same mistake this country did for so many years and that was to allow everyone in, now they’re here and there’s no way to get them out. It started here with court decisions and votes by Congress in the 1950s and from there it was all downhill.

It seems US presidents and those running for president all get their genealogy done for free. In nearly all cases with US presidents they’re all related in some way to British royalty. I remember former president Bush senior got into genealogy after leaving the White House and I found out that he joined the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne under the same line that I did. I was heavily involved with genealogy at one time and still dabble in it from time to time mainly to answer questions from various cousins. I was able to trace one of my lines directly to King John, and from that line was able to join the Order of the Crown of Charlemagne. I was able to do all the documentation on my own. No more cheering for Robin Hood.

The other English order I was able to join was the signers of the Magna Charter but not using King John because he reneged after signing it. I joined on a line from Robert de Ros. Robert de Ros has quite a history, his effigy is in Temple Church in London, he was also a high ranking Knights Templar. The Temple Church has always been one of my favorite places in London and I’ve always loved going there even before I knew I had a connection to the place. He owned a castle up in Yorkshire and married the widow of Robert the Bruce. His widow was royalty back through all the Scottish kings. As the saying goes there’s nothing more boring than hearing about another person’s genealogy, so I won’t bore you any further. I will say that I am a distant cousin of Obama through his white mother’s Duvall side of the family. You never hear Obama bragging about being a descendant of slaves. His father was an African from Kenya and his mother was descended from a long line of Confederate soldiers, slave owners and overseers of slaves. I am also a not so distant cousin of Abraham Lincoln and Harry Truman. Something interesting to talk about anyway.

Facing Facts

Global capitalism undoubtedly rules the world, apart from a couple of rouge states like North Korea and Eritrea that are military dictatorships. Certainly the government of the United Kingdom is close to the banks, insurance companies, and legal firms that generate most of our wealth. It is inconceivable that a British government, of any complexion, would seriously challenge the financial and industrial giants whose corporate taxes are the fourth largest source of government revenue after income tax, National Insurance and VAT.

There is currently an outcry over global firms like Google that appear to get off lightly but they are major investors and employers in this country. They pay rents and business rates on their properties and their employees pay their income tax and NI contributions. The tax authorities know what they are doing. The entire global tax system needs to be co-ordinated. The present system was devised years ago before the rise of global capitalism and the Internet. But the governments of the leading nations are looking at the problem and changes will follow.

We are dependent on tax revenues from British and International companies operating in Britain, and there is nothing much we can do about it. We are a medium sized country with an immigrant-swollen population of 63 million people. We import nearly half of our food, gas and oil and we are heavily dependent on the financial services industry. That is our situation now and that would still be our situation if we quit the European Union.

Those who shout the loudest for the UK to leave the EU are right wingers who denounce global capitalism and claim that we would gain our independence by breaking away from the single market. But the facts are that our largest corporations would still be exactly the same; our international investors would still be the same, and we would still trade with our nearest neighbours; just like nearly every country in the world. Belgium and Ireland are much more important to us than India or China, and in or out of the EU that would still be the case.

Before the1983 general election Enoch Powell warned that after being in the Common Market for ten years it was the UK’s last chance to leave. He said that we would become so integrated with Europe that it would be impossible to leave in the future. His right wing supporters must have forgotten his words.

If there really is a conspiracy by an unlikely alliance of Bilderbergers, Jews, Freemasons, and Marxists to destroy the white race, the British nation, and our cherished weights and measures, we will not escape our fate by making a symbolic gesture like quitting the EU. Such a move would not change our proximity to the European mainland, the density of our population, or the insatiable capitalist greed for cheap immigrant labour.

The guarded language used by the Euro-sceptics on radio and TV is altogether different from the views expressed by them in the saloon bar of the Red Lion. There they loudly complain about “bloody foreigners” and call for a self-sufficient Britain with armed forces restored to wartime strength and the cancellation of all laws passed since the war. Given the chance they would bring back National Service, allow smoking in pubs and restaurants, and restore our “beloved” pounds, shillings and pence. Furthermore, they would prosecute homosexuals, put women back in the kitchen, and round up all the black and brown people for deportation. One can hear them loudly cheering.

What Will They Do?

If Britain votes to quit the European Union, and if the Euro-sceptics are right, immigration will cease overnight, the economy will boom as never before and global warming will come to an end. But if we vote to stay in the EU what will they do?

Ukip have only got one MP at Westminster and he is a Tory defector. Their expected breakthrough at the general election never happened and their leader, Nigel Farage, failed to get elected. They averaged 12.5% throughout the country but they have probably peaked and will start to go downhill.

But if Ukip did badly their fellow travellers barely made an impression.Their vote collapsed and most of them have since abandoned electioneering. We desperately need a modern political party to fight against racial replacement and unrestrained capitalism but Ukip and the far-Right are not what we are looking for.

The referendum could go either way and the "mad, swivel-eyed loons" of the Tory Party, and the "fruitcakes, loonies and closet racists" of Ukip must make a decision. Will they abandon their redundant policies and fight for Britain in Europe, or carry on as they are?

Some of them are proud of their intransigence but they have dropped many of their ideas over the years. They were 

strongly opposed to decimalisation when it was introduced in 1971 but they have come to accept it. The same goes for capital punishment. They are still demanding the death penalty for murder but few of them seriously think that we will ever bring it back. And what about homosexuality? That used to be a far-Right obsession despite the fact that they had their fair share of them. The truth is that many of the issues that bothered them in the past are no longer important. They have even stopped worrying about the Channel Tunnel; they predicted that rabid dogs and unemployed Italians would pour through it but that fear seems to have gone away.

There is no point in basing an economic policy on a revived Commonwealth when we all know that it’s not going to happen. We will always have family ties with the White Dominions. They fought alongside us two world wars but bankrupt Britain was no use to them after World War Two and they were forced to find other markets. We have a cultural affinity with Canadians, Australians, New Zealanders and South Africans, just as we have with Americans, but our future is in Europe; whatever the result of the referendum.

Territory

Throughout history nations fought for territory. The Greeks fought constantly amongst themselves, the Romans conquered the known world and embraced its people as slaves or citizens, and the Jews developed a tribal religion which forbade mixing with non-Jews.

This pattern was repeated throughout history. The Germans followed the Greeks in perfecting the art of war. The British and French copied the Romans by conscripting conquered Asians and Africans into their armies. And the Jews stuck with their religion despite repeated attempts to exterminate them.

The technological advances of the nineteenth century made slavery obsolete and the rise of Japan and China brought an end to European imperialism. Slaves had to be bought, transported, and looked after but impoverished immigrants only cost a fraction of their worth. The world was flooded with cheap labour as people fled from poverty and persecution.

This resulted in voluntary segregation as Europeans
escaped from areas occupied by Third World immigrants. The phenomenon of “white flight” has inspired  movements such as Western Spring in the UK and the Northwest Front in the USA. Their attempts to set up racially exclusive states are Herculean but so is their enthusiasm.

Dictatorial regimes are transient but race and culture endure. People prefer to live amongst their own kind and they will eventually succeed. Maybe in the future a Western Spring community will blossom in the British countryside, or an independent republic will be established in the Pacific Northwest under the wise and benevolent rule of Harold Covington. Stranger things have happened.

Mental Health

According to the Mail on Sunday (14-02-16) "Hundreds of lives are being needlessly lost to suicide every year because of the Government's failure to get a grip on mental health problems".

In his 1979 book Fascists: a Social Psychological View of the National Front, Michael Billig of Loughborough University concluded that members of the National Front had "authoritarian personalities". One wonders what he would make of some of the critics of Angela Merkel who initially welcomed the Syrian refugees to Europe?

More than one of them has accused her of deliberately flooding Europe with Afro-Asians as part of sinister European Union conspiracy. They use this allegation to promote Britain's exit from the EU but race-mixing is endorsed by all of our established political parties - including Ukip. 

Some of them are undoubtedly paranoid but we shouldn't worry about a diagnosis from Michael Billig who sees hidden meanings in the titles of publications.

“Britain First has a patriotic, rather than an overtly racist, ring to it. In fact as a slogan it is politically respectable. The Conservative Party adopted a similar slogan (Put Britain First) for their manifesto in the 1974 general election. However, in the context of extreme right-wing politics the slogan should re-awaken a different echo. It was commonly used by Mosley’s fascists in the 1930s and in fact Britain First was the subheading of his newspaper Action. It would be surprising if this echo from the fascist past had not been noticed by some of the older members of the National Front and the National Party. The result is that the title succeeds in encapsulating a fascist theme in an outwardly respectable symbol.

The same process can be seen in the title Spearhead. Outwardly this has a non-contentious appearance; the magazine’s one word title suggests dynamism, although it has a faintly militaristic and elitist ring. It is not as contentious-sounding as the Salvation Army’s War Cry! There is no mention in any issue why that particular name was selected. In the fiftieth issue there is a mention of the origins of the magazine, but nothing specific: it was founded in late 1964 in support of the GBM and Spearhead was chosen for its name. No indication of the symbolic importance of the name is given and only those with knowledge of the subterranean depths of the extreme right could be expected to catch its particular message”.

Future scientific advances will enable us to feed mankind, and under the benign influence of “Imperium Europa” the nations of the world will prosper; but human nature will never change and professors of psychology will still be churning out meaningless verbiage.

Hanging Together

The parties of the so-called far-Right all oppose Britain's membership of the European Union - except for a pan-European faction that is still active thirty-six years after the death of Oswald Mosley.

Mosley abandoned the pre-war policies of the BUF when the British Empire collapsed but he never stopped fighting against the Money Power and the importation of cheap  Commonwealth labour. His followers in Union Movement saw the emerging European Union as a step in the right direction and we campaigned enthusiastically for Britain to stay in Europe in the 1975 referendum. But our vision went far beyond the narrow nationalism of Dave Cameron. We proposed a European Government with the power to raise wages and conditions within an integrated economy.  

The flag-waving parties denounce each other as "traitors" but their ostentatious patriotism will not save them if the State feels threatened. Winston Churchill used anti-terrorist legislation to silence his enemies in 1940. Defence Regulation 18B was designed to counter the IRA but it was used to lock up Oswald Mosley and his supporters. Churchill also detained "respectable" peace campaigners such as Tory MP Archibald Maule Ramsay, former Labour MP John Beckett, leading pacifist Ben Greene, and former diplomat Sir John Philby.

But the ultimate sanction was reserved for William Joyce who had broadcast from Germany, and John Amery who tried to recruit British prisoners of war to fight on the Russian Front. Both men were hanged for "treason" by a vengeful state that had just tied the pound to the dollar and put our armed forces under American command.

The current war in the Middle East and the refugee invasion has prompted another round of censorship. Under proposals reported in The Independent (14/02/15), the Government intends to ban local councils, public bodies and student unions from boycotting firms involved in the arms trade, fossil fuels, tobacco products, or Israeli settlements in the West Bank. This blatant suppression of free speech is supposed to protect "communities" from anti-Semitism.

Home Secretary Therese May is being urged to clamp down on Muslim extremists but she is just as likely to use her powers against British dissidents. Those of us who love our country may be divided on Europe but if we are dragged into another Zionists war we will certainly hang together. 

The Way We Were

This picture was taken in 1965 when we were four young men trying to put the world to rights. Top left is me, Bill Baillie, a member of John Bean’s BNP which had achieved a record breaking 3,410 votes (9.2%) in the 1964 general election in Southall. We fought the election almost entirely on immigration. In those days Southall was a West London suburb that had started to attract Indians; today it’s virtually an Indian enclave.

Soon after this photo was taken I went to South Africa firmly believing that the apartheid system was a genuine attempt at separate development. I was soon disillusioned. I spent two years in South Africa during which Prime Minister Hendrik Verewoerd was assassinated by a disturbed parliamentary messenger called Dimitri Tsefendas. The citizens of Capetown were relieved to discover that he was a European. If he had been black or “coloured” the aftermath might have been very different. It later emerged that his mother was of mixed race but he was classified as white.

From South Africa I went to Australia and then New Zealand before returning to the UK in 1970. My Commonwealth tour convinced me that a union of Britain with the White Dominions was not a viable proposition. By the late sixties the White Dominions were going their own way and finding alternative markets ahead of Britain’s decision to join the Common Market. I therefore embraced Oswald Mosley’s concept of Europe a Nation and joined Union Movement.

The man at the top right of the photo is Roy Robinson. He was a member of the South London branch of Union Movement who defected in 1961 with Keith Goodall to form the National Union of Fascists. They held meetings in Brixton Market and managed to get one of their members arrested for contravening the Public Order Act by wearing a black shirt. They were eclipsed by Colin Jordan’s National Socialist Movement which dominated the headlines, first with their paramilitary activities and then because of the rivalry between John Tyndall and Colin Jordan for the affections of Francoise Dior the French heiress and dedicated National Socialist.

Roy was at London University with David Irving so he must be in his eighties if he is still alive. He graduated with a science degree and worked in the emerging computer industry. I lost touch with him years ago.

Bottom left is Fred Weldon, an amazing character who inadvertently left a trail of destruction in his wake. Fred used to take part in League of Empire Loyalist heckling expeditions where the very sight of him incited the Reds to extreme violence. I once ran into him at Kings Cross when he was working for the Official Receiver and carrying a suitcase full of money. We had a few beers in the buffet bar until an altercation developed between Fred and several West Indian railwaymen. That was the last time I saw him.

Bottom right is my school friend Paul Barnes who was also an active BNP member. Paul’s father, Bill Barnes, had been a pre-war fascist and his Godfather was John Beckett the former Labour MP who stole the Speaker’s Mace and went on to become a leading member of the BUF. Both father and son were accomplished street fighters as well as being educated and erudite men. Paul was a retired restaurateur and a connoisseur of fine wines. He died following a motor accident two years ago.

Ever Closer Union

After the Second World War two great visionaries published books outlining their plans for the reconstruction of Europe. Oswald Mosley wrote "The Alternative" and Francis Parker Yockey wrote "Imperium". Yockey thought that the Soviet Union was less of a cultural threat that the United States but Mosley realised that American aid was vital. They both had a point but instead of harnessing their efforts they fell out with each other.

Yockey was chased around the world by American secret agents and eventually died in a federal prison. Mosley was blacklisted by the BBC and obstructed in every way possible. They were hounded for criticising the Jews but neither of them were racists. There is no doubt that Adolf Hitler hated the Jews; his testament "Mein Kampf" was totally anti-Jewish and he subscribed to the Master Race theory, but Mosley and Yockey were culturalists rather than racists. They were persecuted by Zionists who feared their intelligence. 

We live in a changing world. The United States is still a formidable power but Americans have grown tired of perpetual war and Third World invasion. The Russian Federation has dumped Communism for market capitalism. The Middle East is in a state of chaos and the whole world is realigning itself along geopolitical lines. Europe, the mother of both American and Russian civilization is finally coming together.

Despite the spoiling tactics of politicians like Dave Cameron the European Union is moving inexorably towards "ever closer union". Countries that were bombing and shelling each other during the Second World War are now working together. The first objective of European unity has therefore been achieved; the rest will follow.

Roger Clare

Our comrade Roger Clare died at home in Ramsgate on January 29 2016. He was 73. Roger joined Union Movement as a teenager and was a Mosley man all his life. He was a keen cine photographer who gave political film shows at the Central Focus Film Club in North London in the seventies. He was noted for his cheerfulness and sense of humour but the "anti-fascist" writer Bernard O'Mahoney called him: "a long-time Nazi with international ties", and the delusional Gerry Gable accused him of arson but conceded that he was: "a good-looking urbane figure". May he rest in Peace.

The World Council of Churches - Roger Clare

The racial traitors who welcome non-Europeans to our shores always take the other side in our war for survival. Roger Clare’s letter from Wellington, New Zealand, was published in “Spearhead” # 75, in May 1974. The World Council of Churches supported African terrorists when they shot down an Air Rhodesia Viscount in September 1978, killing 48 passengers and crew, and another in February 1979, killing 59 passengers and crew. Their Soviet Strela 2 missiles were bought with funds supplied by the WCC.

The person who points out the intended victim and pays the murderer for carrying out his insidious crime is equally as guilty as the person who actually commits the heinous act. By the same token therefore must the World Council of Churches be considered equally guilty of the acts of terrorism at present being perpetrated in Southern Africa as the terrorists responsible for the acts themselves.

By virtue of the financial assistance to the terrorists gangs, who in an attempt to assume an air of respectability call themselves “freedom fighters” the WCC is paying for murder, rape, arson and other acts of terrorism.

It must be understood that these so-called “liberation” movements are unelected and are in the main not nationals of the countries they wish to “liberate.” Furthermore their presence is not desired by the populace of these countries, irrespective of race or creed, and any support the so-called liberators may have from the indigenous population is maintained only by the threat of reprisal.

As one who was brought up in the Christian faith I find it hard to reconcile the actions of the WCC, for it is obvious that the hierarchy of this movement have long since ceased to preach Christianity and now preach the virtues of a Godless communist society.

There can be no doubt that many Christians have been duped into supporting the WCC in the belief that they are furthering the ends of Christianity. All we can hope is that these well-intentioned people will soon awaken to the reality of the true purpose of the WCC and realize the deadliness of the poisonous reptile they are nurturing and harboring in their midst.

So far as Southern Africa is concerned it is obvious that the WCC is not interested in the welfare of the Coloured African or in improving his standard of living, but is desirous of destroying the white governments that at present govern the countries and the civilization they uphold.
